I have had all three gauges of Red Label. The 28 was the best. However it is not comparable to a Beretta or Browning. I have owned both of those in 28 ga also, and prefer the Beretta.

Just to keep it going,I think the old ones were solid guns that pointed like a 2X4,maybe a 2X6. The new ones I've seen were huge pieces of [bleep],including a couple I saw that dealers sent back they were so bad. In fact one dealer friend made it a point to show me as an example of one of the biggest pieces of [bleep] he had ever been sent.

I would highly recommend anyone wanting a 28 ga to bite the bullet once so to speak and get the Beretta baby frame.
