The Mountain Ascent has some "custom" features over the Subalpine.

Mountain Ascent has:
- Fluted and hollowed bolt handle.
- Helical fluted bolt body.
- Removable muzzle brake and a stylish thread protector.

Not sure what else is different but Kimber's MSRP is $300 more for the Mountain Ascent...
