The most regrettable thing about it is that there's all this hoopla. What difference does it make? It's just as noteworthy (which is to say not much) that she's a female NFL coach. Her job is based on her knowledge, not her anatomy, or her sex life. She isn't a player, she's a teacher.

But it's all part of the script for the producers of NFL Drama Theater... Nothing against her, because if she can do the job then she deserves it. The producers and directors at the NFL love to get something like this because it's "groundbreaking" and they can get enormous amounts of absolutely free publicity on the airwaves and in the papers out of something like this. Plus;.... it's oh-so politically correct and they always seem to come up with something like this in the pre-season / early season time frame like a gay player, or a christian player, or someone with some kind of politically correct cause. So this year it's a gay coach and let the media begin their non-stop, blanket coverage, running commentary in the newest sub-plot of America's number one soap opera played out under the big top. P.T. Barnum would certainly own a pro football team if he were around today.
