Just to tell you how good Duke's is, I put it on my turkey sandwiches every day. An alternate use we found this year for those of you with young children in the south is for Lice control. My daughter got it at school twice this year(bout half the school got it as well). We tried RID, did not work. We tried a prescription med, $200, did not work. Well the Duke's mayo killed all the live bugs both times in one application. Then just had to comb the nits away.

I'm not sure I'd brag about my choice of mayonnaise doubling as an insecticide.

I can get Duke's usually, but my close second choice is Blue Plate.

Mayonnaise and Miracle Whip are two totally different items with totally different tastes. I use them for different purposes. They happen to look similar but so do Marmite and chocolate frosting. Marmite: Now that's an acquired taste! Used to work with a gal raised in Britain that put that on almost everything. I bought a small jar and wasn't able to use anywhere near half before it went off date. Lots of stuff has Marmite-like yeast extract in it, but straight Marmite is powerful stuff. Dukes is the stuff, no doubt. Miracle whip is, as someone said, a different thing altogether than mayo. I found the Kraft olive oil mayo similar to MW, useful on the same stuff, and half the calories.
What fresh Hell is this?

simply put Dukes goes a little heavier on the egg yolks and vinegar. You can pretty much make it your self!!
It was born 10 minutes down the road here in Greenville! Who knew it would be the hit it is now?
Or just order on Amazon, Target or Walmart!!

The moderator should just delete this thread. A much better discussion is found here.
