If you were truly treating your best friend, you would buy him another drink and a 6.5" 29-2 to go with the 8 3/8. I might know where one can be found.
Tell me. He's drinking and spending wildly. Clark If you plan to impersonate DH, you need both a 6.5" and 8 3/8. He mainly carried a 6.5 but used an 8 3/8 for effect. Mine is a clean 6.5" without a presentation case. I have had it for a few years, but my memory is I may have gotten it from Shrapnel so I am sure I vastly overpaid. I think I may have your number still. If so, I will text you pics tomorrow. The 6.5" blued 29-2 was my dream gun that I couldn't afford for years so it will give me a slight twinge of pain to sell it, but I have had it for several years and haven't shot it. I shoot my 5" 629 when wanting a shorter barrel and 7.5" Bisley or Super Redhawk when I think a long barrel to be beneficial. The 29-2 is just too pretty to shoot.
