I have a 308 mannlicher you can afford, 700 dollars shipped. The only problem is that it is missing the steel cap at the muzzzle.

I used to collect them, now I like the older 264's and 300H&H's with 26" barrels.

I have a few SAKO rifles, don't know if that makes me a collector as I tend to buy "shooters" not safe queens. The newest rifle I have other than a 22 LR Finnfire that I bought new in 1999 would be a 308 AII with an oil finished stock that I bought new in 1988 and an AV action that I had a 338 Win built about 1989. The others are older L579, L61, L61R and AI rifles. I always look for older SAKO's when I visit a gun shop or attend the rare gun show. One of these days I'll find a Mauser action SAKO in 300 H&H or 30-06 when I have some money in my pocket at the same time. While I handled and shot many of the newer 75/85 series they just don't give me the warm fuzzies. I do have one full stock rifle, it's an L-46 chambered in 222 Rem. and it has a 24" barrel.
The SAKO Collectors site is worth the visit.

I have two single shot Sakos.. AI & AII, with target triggers.
Those are pretty rare.

I have a L46 in 222, but sold my Sako PPC. I had to make parts for my L46 as none were to be found.

My favorite Sako is a Vixen previously in 222 mag set back and rechambered to .221 Fireball. Have a few others. Should have never let my AII in 22-250 go, big mistake.

I'm not a collector but I have an Sako L579 Forestor 243win that has the Mannlicher style full stock and is stamped a Borfos Steel on the barrel. Really good condition.
Oddly enough I just took it out of safe today and am thinking about using it to possibly hunt with but am hesitant because it's not scratched or dented

Not a Collector, like on the SAKO site, I have several - all are used for hunting. Only 1 centerfire is pristine and I've killed a deer with that one too!!!

I have 7 does that make me a collector. Three AV's (.270 Hunter, .280 and .30-06), a M591 (7mm08) and three A7's (.308 SS, .270 WSM Tecomate, and .243 Coyote)

I have what must be the holy grail for Sako collectors. A matched pair of Sako Finnwolf rifles in 243 and 308. S/N 4 of 175. These were made to commemorate the founding of the Sako Collectors Assn, and it states that in gold engraving on each rifle. I would sell them to the right buyer.
