Headed up to da UP soon. Camping at Colwell Lake about 25 miles north of Manistique. Mostly fishing, maybe try a little grouse hunting. Not picky about fish species...walleye, northern, bass, all good. Anybody have lake recommendations? Grouse hunting tips? PM me if you prefer. Greatly appreciate the advice I've gotten from this forum in the past.

If you want to spend a few hundred bucks , a great lakes charter will steer you right Big and Little Bay De Noc is good for big walleye and northern, also, big trout and salmon in th bay. Grouse hunting? Drive down on of the thousand dirt roads on th public land till you see a logging road. Grouse seem up in northern wis. ,most likely in " Da U.P." too. Dont get lost.
