I am wanting to buy a BLR in 270 wsm for black bear and black tail deer, or a beneli R1. With the BLR has anyone had trouble with the Laminate pistol grip stainless steel with the aluminum reciever? Is the plastic parts in these or have they changed to brass in the new guns? Does this style gun damage cartriges like people have been talking about? Just want to know all possilbe problems and make a decision between the two. Been reading a lot about the R1's on this site. like the stainless though, does anybody make a stainless auto? Thanks for any help.
