Leaves already falling. Not a drop of rain so far this month and none projected for the next ten days. Dry,dry dry! Squirrel season opens second Saturday in October.

It didn't rain at all during the month of Sept. I went to the bottom yesterday and the tupelo gums are already dropping leaves, sweet gum too.

I think sweet gums are always the first to shed leaves. I see it as the first sign of fall. Not may tupelo gums over this way.
