I have a couple of these now and I'm wondering if anyone would consider a trade. I'm looking for a Savage model 14 American Classic in 300 Sav, or a Rem 700 Classic in .250 Sav. My Rem Classics are both minty, but no boxes. I'll be gone for the weekend. PM me.

A minty Classic Model 14 in 250 Savage for 600 should not have any trouble finding a home...

I don't have what you are looking for but I have other options. If you are interested, please PM me.
I do have a 700 Classic in 250 but my oldest shot his first deer with that rifle. Therefore, a trade is a red hot negative.

How about re-barrel, and keep the original barrel to return it to originality should you ever feel like it?

It might be an adventure in looking for the factory item, but I'd swap out the barrel on your 700 to a .250. As said above, the original .300 barrel can always be put back on if needed.
