I saw an ad for one of these on a local forum and became curious. Google provided basic information but want more opinion/views from you guys. Anyone have hands on experience?

I've got one and really like it, you will read that it is essentially a 250 Sav. Maybe from a24" barreled AR but this is not my experience.
I'm using an 18" barreled gun and getting 2400-2500fps with 100gr bullets, I've taken pigs 150-200# with it out to 200yds, and gotten great terminal performance from 100gr prvi partisan sp, and 100gr Speer HP's.
For me it has replaced my Grendel due to cheaper brass, and similar ballistics. I would not hesitate to use it on game 500# or less out to 250-300yards, especially with premium bullets.

Thanks for that. I once had a 25/35 Winchester and liked that power level for a mild mannered "yard rifle". A shorter rifle, like an AR with similar ballistics, would seem to offer something.

The 25x45,compares really well to a 25/35.

Just with much better bullets then they had 100 years ago.

have and have had several. its my go to for ar hunting deer.
the closest to 3k fps i have gotten was 2825.
but then i haven't gotten 3k out of my 250 savage either.
sharps sells hog killer ammo that is supposed to hit like Thors hammer.
did i say i like the 25-45 very much?
