I traded into a Kimber Hunter .243 the other day at a local gun shop. It is Stamped Kimber Montana on the barrel. I was wondering if Kimber shipped the hunters out like this or if some one had bought a Hunter and switched barreled actions out and then sent this one down the road. From what I have read there is no real difference between the two models, other than the stock. I am hoping it will handle some 103 ELD-X's but I am doubtful it will have enough twist.

I'll about bet that someone did some stock swapping. No biggie as long as you are happy with it though.
