284 Winchester please, make that pretty please.

Edit: I humbly withdraw my vote as I had this rifle mixed up with another brand, my love affair with high end rifles is long over and seeing the price tag I have no reason to offer input. I am too hard on my guns.

looks like the 284 has eight people that show an interest in it....i would hope to see a caliber which you cant readily get in other rifles

284 if for no other reason to pay homage to the guns roots. NULA and .284 go together like peanut butter and jelly.

We talked about 25-50. That's what this thread is all about. They're big on the 284 Win as well. If it's 50 rifles and 8 guys on here want a 284, then I have to move 42 more. I can assure you that won't happen in a years time! If they let me split it up between three chamberings, that's a different story.

I'll call tomorrow and see what they're thinking.

yes a floorplate would be great or an inline detachable magazine would be even better........Hb

A 6.5x284 would be sweet. Or 6.5 or 7mm SAUM

Just looking around there isn't a real surplus of 284 brass around. I'd still vote 6.5-284, or 280 Remington. Whatever they go with, keep it as light as possible.

I like this one in 6.5 CM.

6.5 CM with a #2 contour using that stock would be excellent.

I would be sorely tempted with that configuration.

I believe the 6 Creed is twisted 1:7.

I would buy a 6.5-284, 6-06, 6-284, 6.5-06, 284, 280ai or a 338-06. I could care less about the recoil pad but a brown stock? Why not some type of camo?
