I have a 6,000 square foot warehouse for my business and can get 25 yds or so to shoot indoors. I'm thinking of welding up a bullet trap that is fairly large maybe 8 feet wide by 6 feet that I will mount on casters. Would shoot .22 LR up through 9mm and .45 ACP handguns.

Has anyone done this? If so, any suggestions for the gauge of steel needed and the angle of the backstop? Will have a sand bed with 6" sides at the bottom to catch the bullets.

Thanks for the suggestions.
