Evidently he got serious this morning and drug out his old .300 H&H, built on an old Winchester M1917 receiver and barrel. Put together by old Austin gunsmith JF "Buster" Kreuz over 50 years ago. He was standing facing me, bullet was recovered in his flank under the hide.

My 86 is a 33WCF loaded with a Hornady 200 grain flat point, 42 grains of 4895. Love this old rifle! You only live once, but...if you do it right, once is enough.
