This just in from Postoak Cowboy! Evidently he got serious this morning and drug out his old .300 H&H, built on an old Winchester M1917 receiver and barrel. Put together by old Austin gunsmith JF "Buster" Kreuz over 50 years ago.

I think he's happy with him!

Edm those are awesome! Love the Kudu!!

That buck I got this morning is my best so far. The barreled Winchester Action is dated 2/17! Figured it was fitting for the old Dough Boy!

Shot this guy yesterday with my 1939 Winchester Model 70 30-06 with a 150 Accubond at 100ish yards. He was standing facing me, bullet was recovered in his flank under the hide.

No, he just very wide which is why I went after him. He measures 53 1/2" so still pretty decent.

My 1886 scored about two weeks ago and I was encouraged to place the pic in the Winchester kills thread.

95 yard shot and she dropped right there. My 86 is a 33WCF loaded with a Hornady 200 grain flat point, 42 grains of 4895. Love this old rifle!

M70 Featherweight in .257 Roberts using hand-loaded 90 gr. Barnes x bullets. It's a critter killing machine.
