Was curious if any of you guys have ran these into anything larger than deer. I've got a hell of a load worked up for the wife's rifle that spits them out at 3150fps and they shoot great. Just wondering if they are an all around bullet or better suited for deer

I’d hunt anything with them I’d use a Partition, Accubond, etc.. they are ganged good Bullets. 3150 is trucking too.

Send a PM to scenarshooter, I think he killed a grizzly with that bullet.

I would hunt elk or moose happily with them, they are a tough bullet. I shot some goats with them (264 WM @ 3200 fps) the bigger billes are built much tougher than deer and was more than pleased.

The BC a little inflated?
Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.

The BC a little inflated? Maybe a little but they are a long sleek bullet. Haven't stretched its legs to see for sure yet

Let us know. I think scenarshooter said the were close, but I've also heard they're upper .4's. They are a sleek beauty and I like how they behave on meat..

Maybe a little but they are a long sleek bullet. Haven't stretched its legs to see for sure yet I've stretched them to 900 yds in a 6.5x284 at 4k'. The numbers came out for me right at book. I've killed some nice large mule deer with them and they perform great.

Most definitely, I think you would be pleased with them at those kind of speeds.

Let us know. I think scenarshooter said the were close, but I've also heard they're upper .4's. They are a sleek beauty and I like how they behave on meat.. My testing showed .540ish at 3000 fps. It's a great bullet, but I saw some lack of consistency from lot to lot..I never tried them at 6.5 SAUM velocities. 3150-3250fps might just get them to a claimed .571 G1. They have thick jackets and penetrate really well.
Luck....is the residue of design...

They are quite tough- much tougher bullet than an Accubomb or Amax. On deer, I have seen a lot of complete pass-throughs.

Had great luck with the Scirocco in elk camp the past two years and box to box they seem more consistent than Accubonds. Those are from the 338. Those are from a 7 Rem. Sorry, no pictures of a 6.5 Scirocco but I’ll be trying them in my 264 before too long.
