Anytime around Sept 20 to the 10th of October is good. The best is always the first week in October. Mornings with heavy frost will be optimum.

I'd try for the first week in October if possible. I live in north central B.C and I always call in more bulls in that time frame than any other. Weather plays a huge part in the skeme of things. If it is warm rainy ect it makes it more difficult. Cold clear nights with lots of frost really gets those bulls moving. Also sometimes the bulls will be paired up with cows. I have found when they are paired up they will answer but it's harder to coax them out.
