Having caught a few striped bass, I have never heard one referred to as a rock fish. Me either until I got here. It's the name they use in MD, VA, DE for Stripers.

Just off the combine, a small piece of leftover pork roast, and I cleaned up the cold creamed corn. Plumb tuckered out.

That sounds like slim pickings. Wish you could have been this way. What are you growing? I've not been in Ontario, but have family up in Winnipeg and in Brampton. Driving through Manitoba that's flat flat flat land. Sausage and gravy, cornmeal cakes, fried cheese-stuffed peppers, baked sweet potatoes. Beer.

Just back from Zimbabwe. I have not sorted photos yet but the waterbuck backstrap exceeded the cape buffalo backstrap though no complaints here with anything. The buffalo stroganoff was killer too.

Big can of Bush's beans and a whole package of cheap Frankfurters, sliced.
It was good!

Had a store bought dinner tonight.
Took the crew to town after we got done shipping.
I had a rib steak at the restaurant. It was not too bad actually.
