I just recently got into the custom knife game.....always looking to add more. I only have 3 at the moment and before my ordering goes any further would appreciate some reccomendations from those of you with more experience than me.

I currently have an Ingram yellow jacket in d2. Carry it everyday for a multitude of tasks.
A Charlie May bobwhite in d2 ( cleaning small game)
And a winston 43 in d2 i plan to use on dressing deer.

My hunting consists of 90% small game. (Squirrels, rabbits and ruffed grouse) the other 10% is deer and predators. Knife for predators is of no concern.

What am I missing? There’s probably nothing I can’t do with the above mentioned blades and duplicates are fine. So with the above criteria what would you be adding based off your personal experience? I need some color I know. Thinking an Ingram #4 B&T is a must, and maybe a Charlie May skipjack (although I must confess....idk why I want the skipjack lol)
Group shot is pretty drab as far as color goes.

You've got it covered with the #43.

I like the #45 a touch more.

#91 is a nice skinner blade

Left = #91. Right #45

Double skinny and #2 skinny I think are the names.

Dude that green Ingram is sick!

Vince-I have several traditional folders from GEC.....strictly looking at fixed blades at the moment. I have a 16bore in the works from menefee, thinking the skipjack fro may could do the kitchen work.....no wife, thought not having a wife was the way to afford toys lol.

Pocket fixed blade for causal? Reccomendation?

Thought about that one. Already waiting on a skipjack from May though and I’m not too sure what I plan to do with it lol. And the kingfisher/skipjack seem very similar to each other? Correct me where I am wrong?

You need a Dozier Knives K-12 Small Game Skinner. It is the best squirrel disassembly tool that I have ever used, by far!

You have purchased some excellent knives so far.

Dude, you have become a collector. Need went out the door, now it is simply what you like.
Embrace it, be honest with yourself. I had a heck of a time justifying gun purchases.
Now if I want it, and the price is right, it's mine.

On my site I have a pocket fixed blade by Rick Nowland called a " Little Buddy" in stag Normally 235 reduced to $160 quite the deal

http://www.vcmcustomknives.com/amber-stag-buddy.html

I have this small unique Teardrop by Rick ,this is an old English style sometimes called a Quill knife

http://www.vcmcustomknives.com/maple-teardrop-parer.html

I have some more small knives incoming from Menefee but they get sold before I get them here a lot of times. One of them is a swayback, another English style. Also the " Front Pocket"

I have some other small knives in the works by Bret Dowell, and his daughter Taylor.

Sometimes I can be talked out of something out of my own stash too. I'm sure I can get you fixed up with something

This is a sneak peek at some incoming Menefee's. Right now I can't quote exact prices on these I'm waiting to hear from Rick, but just look at them

what you have will easily process anything you hunt. If you need more, that's fine, but you are covered. I like Tim Olt's knives, and one of his would not be out of place in that group shot.
