I have no idea what kind of wood that is. It looks a lot like an Al Biesen stock. I sold this rifle to DesertMuleDeer. He was nice enough to sell it back to me a couple of months ago. I refinished the stock last week. It turned out ok.

No barrel markings, probably a Buhmiller barrel. Henriksen was known to favor them. Henriksen is one if the few Al Biesen praised. He did a lot of work for Elmer Keith.
