That little rifle is in dandy shape. They didn't pull the saddle ring either.

Wow, that a nice SRC! The examples I've run across are usually beat to hell or bubba'd in some way. I haven't dabbled in the toggle link Winchesters, I might have to take the plunge one of these days.

What a find!!! Not a collector, but that is a sharp old rifle. Rabbits this winter?? Actually that is a collector. You don't find 1873 SRC in that condition, especially in 38-40! Hopefully many rabbits will fall to it this winter...
