$1050 shipped in a hard case to lower 48............shipping is going to cost me at least $75 as this rifle is nearly 14lbs. PRICE IS FIRM> This would cost min $2500 to build. I got this from an acquaintance who had it built over 10 years ago from a smith in Cove, Oregon. The smith is now deceased and I cannot remember the name. However, the rifle is very well put together and you can tell the quality of work and attention to detail.

Rifle DOES NOT COME WITH SCOPE. Beautiful Custom Built 6mm Rem Improved on a Winchester Model 70 LONG ACTION. This 6mm Ackley Improved has a Shilen Match Grade 26.5" Full Bull barrel approximately 1.125" diameter at the muzzle. 1-10" TWIST. Rifle has been fired less than 200 rounds. Shoots 1/2 MOA or better with only reload tried, IMR 4350 and 87gr V max. Very heavy rifle, sits on the bags or off bipod very nicely. Rifle weighs around 14lbs with scope. Rifle has a 1-10" Twist and a throat to shoot 87gr V max seated well into the neck and still touching rifling. Picture of the loaded round is .020" off the rifling (to give you reference on how much life is left in the throat). Full Custom Stock (this stock would cost easily $500) to have built. Trigger is tuned to approx 3 lbs and Crisp. Stock length of pull is 13.75". Now is your chance to own a near new, quality built custom rifle without the long wait or steep cost. This is a perfect ground hog or long range Prairie Dog rifle. Selling as I just don't use it enough, nor do I intend to. Rifle will ship in a hard case to the lower 48 only.
