I've seen NHRA funny cars break speed and e.t. records multiple times. This season it was Robert Hight going 339 mph on the 1000 foot course. Unless you've watched an 11,000 horsepower nitromethane burning monster shake the earth, you haven't seen power and speed... (aircraft excluded)..
One of those things that must be witnessed to be believed. Audio is impossible to pick up. The absolute loudest, most violent acceleration imaginable ....beyond description.
