I’ve been watching this thread for a week. I have bought myself an A22 magnum. I just haven’t gotten around to mountain a scope on it yet. Sits in the closet unfired. I was hoping to see a few peoples opinions on it.

I like the looks of the CZ. But like the flush mount rotary mag of the Savage.

A lever Henry would probably be fast enough for me, and cheaper to shoot.

Although they are no longer being produced you might consider the Remington 597--I have one with the Laminated stock and it shoots better than it should. Consistent 1/2" at 50 yds and Sub Inch @ 100

Well I had to pass on the one I was looking at but from poking around on rimfirecentral some I think I’m going to follow these a bit and possibly try picking one up down the road.

I looked at a CZ 512 yesterday that looked and felt wonderful. I was seriously tempted to work a swap for it, but ended up with an RAR stainless Predator in .22 WMR instead. It's nice, too.

Ratsmacker, where did you find the rar in that configuration. I can’t find any info on it.
Thanks

It's on Ruger's website, under the RAR "standard" or "regular" I don't recall which right now. It's a new catalog item, its a Predator configuration, in stainless and with an all black stock. I got mine from Whittaker's, but it was the only one they had.

Thanks, I finally found it on rugers website. Now to find one. Checked a couple local stores and they said their distributors are out of stock.
