Strangely, Mark always sounded pretty sharp on interviews.

He's been on FOX's payroll for years and pops up now and then despite his credibility issues.

I was really aghast when Fuhrman said on the stand that he never used the word "[bleep]". If you're a white male in my age group (born in 1959) or older, you HAVE said [bleep] more than a lot. Might as well admit it on the stand. I was a Deputy in Texas when the Rodney King arrest took place. I was really really surprised that he denied using the "n" word. Not only did he use it, it was recorded. Once a cop loses credibility they are no longer of any use in law enforcement. They might as well start looking for another job outside of the Criminal Justice System, because as a liar, and that's what attorneys would call him on the stand, he is useless to his agency, the state's prosecutors and the courts. An attorney would destroy his credibility with about 1 or 2 questions, then he would be completely unbelievable to the jury.

Mark Furhman has been contributing to Fox for many years. He has plenty of credibility as far as I'm concerned.

Yea, Fuhrman was the guy who found the bloody glove.
Fuhrman was much more than that. He is and was one of the best and most notable detectives of our time. Pretty brilliant guy actually and if I had a missing loved one I would want Mark Furhman on the hunt. After the OJ Simpson case he was charged with perjury. A good lawyer could probably argue whether he did perjure himself in the truest sense of the word. His lie was concerning whether he did or did not use a specific racial epithet within a certain time frame of his life. He insisted he had not used the term in question within that time frame, but OJ's defense team had evidence to the contrary. As a result, his credibility was called into question (giglio) and he was left with few options after 20 years on the force. After retiring from the LAPD he was charged criminally for purgery/lying under oath and pleaded nolo contendre. This case has now been expunged from his record. He is often maligned for taking the 5th on some questions but in my opinion he was just doing what most would have done. There is no end to the possibilities that defense team could have taken his answering some of those questions. Now you can all go back to having disdain for a guy you know nothing about. You're Welcome, Dave

How about OJ Simpson. So "framing" is reporting the evidence as you found/discovered it? Umm, ok. Fuhrman was simply doing his job.

i worked with and count Mark Fuhrman as a friend. we both left L.A and moved north at the same time. so many people run their mouths without having a clue what they are talking about or engaging the brain. Mark is a better man than all his detractors combined. in other words stfu.

Dave I think he was a good detective and like getting his point of view on crimes. Hannity used him some too.
