On a coyote stand... I put my son behind me to cover my six and a small area I couldn't see due to a rise in the field. Around the 12 minute mark I heard one shot but no "WHOMP" and my temper started to climb. Then I heard shot #2 and again no "WHOMP" and at the same moment I see a dog sprinting right to left about 500yds. out. I yell over my shoulder "Gee, son. Great job. He's just over a 1/4 mile away!"
