NEVER, EVER, pop smoke on your own position. Reading this forum on an iPhone means having to turn the phone sideways and scale. When I do this I can’t see the name of the poster, just the response. When i read this I knew instantly who wrote it. I dunno if that’s a Dave original or a Chad original but it’s a damned good one and I’ve used it often. Morning Dave.

Of course she has the right Karen Fonseca, 46, had defied calls to remove or alter a “F‑‑k Trump” sticker on the back of her truck after a Houston-area sheriff said on Facebook that it could lead to a disorderly conduct charge. Some nazis down there thought otherwise Respectfully, you are acting like an idiot. The Sheriff was trying to educate her on good taste. There was a time when bumper stickers would never be written so vulgarly. Regardless of one's opinion of him, Trump is the president and deserves the respect that office holds. The Sheriff has behaved in proper fashion. As others have said, when one has warrants, don't go drawing attention to one's self. No. She was an idiot for the message displayed, and the sheriff was an idiot for insinuating it could lead to a criminal charge, an opinion of a more serious nature. Offensive speech is protected.

First things first: Fascist/Fascism is now & has always been a LEFTIST (some political scientists would say: COMMUNIST) political theory/political term. - Whatever else the sheriff of that TX county is, he is NOT a Fascist.
Among educated persons, certain "terms of art' have essentially FIXED meanings, which no truly edeucated person will even try to change, lest they look FOOLISH and/or DISHONEST. - Fasism/Fascist is one of those "terms of art" that the MORON LEFT is IGNORANT (or just DISHONEST) enough to try to apply to those on the right side of the political spectrum.
FASCISM arose in Italy, Germany, Spain & in some areas of Eastern Europe in the early 1920s as a populist revolt against the generally conservative regimes of the post-WWI era.
ALL of those Fascist groups were ANTI-SEMITIC, FAR LEFT & SOCIALIST in outlook/nature.
In Italy the FASCISTS were first called: THE ITALIAN CHRISTIAN SOCIALIST PARTY.
In Germany the FASCISTS were called: NSDAP or THE GERMAN NATIONAL SOCIALIST WORKERS PARTY.
In Spain the FASCISTS were first known as THE SPANISH MOST CATHOLIC SOCIALIST PARTY.

In Eastern Europe, the various small leftist parties generally styled themselves as some local version of Christian Socialist or National Socialist Party & most of those national socialist movements were usually affiliated with Germany's NSDAP and/or Stalin's CCCP in the USSR.
Whether you were a Fascist in Germany, Italy, Spain or Eastern Europe and were a party member, you enjoyed "cradle to grave" SOCIALISM, including numerous benefits that NO non-Socialist party member ever had access to. Also, all of the FASCIST parties were closely linked with & often officially affiliated with the Stalinists of the USSR. = Until OPERATION BARBAROSSA the NSDAP was officially affiliated & allied with the USSR.
It was only after WWII, when the horrid extent of the results of the worst excesses of the GERMAN & ITALIAN FASCISTS became generally known/hated that the LEFTISTS in the USA & Europe started trying (either IGNORANTLY or DISHONESTLY) to use the word FASCIST/FASCISM as a derogatory term to beat the rightists "about the head & shoulders with".
As to "offensive speech being protected" that is FALSE if using such offensive speech is likely to cause public disorder or is likely to cause violence, e shouting "FIRE" in a crowded theater, when there is NO fire. = Freedom of Speech is NOT absolute.
What the "moron lady" had on her truck, at least in much of the USA, likely to provoke violence & therefore is called: DISORDERLY CONDUCT, which is punishable in TX by fines and/or jail.
