Up for sale is a rifle that has become a safe queen. I used this rifle last fall and it is accurate; I took 4 deer & 3 hogs! I only worked up loads for 110 gr. Sierra’s & Barnes TTSX (what I had on hand at the time) and they flat kill. The included test target was with 130’s so I am sure the potential is there with more appropriate bullet weights for this cartridge.

I have run the gamut on stocks for this rifle. I sold the original factory stock and replaced it with a light weight MPI; I later moved the MPI stock to another rifle and bought a new factory stock to bring it back full circle. I had “Redneck” tune the trigger and it is nice!! He also shortened the barrel to 23” and re-crowned. Then I had the opportunity to get a light weight replacement stock that Weatherby only puts on the Back Country model. This particular Lt weight stock is not available retail. I called Stocky’s and asked and they verified they cannot get this particular stock. So as it sits with the Lt. weight stock off a Backcountry & Talley Lt weights the rifle weighs 7 lbs. on the nose.

$775.00 shipped. Sorry no trades. I would entertain splitting up the stock & barreled action but only if I had buyers for each.
