Only issue is the touch pad. My friend's cannon touch pad quit on him. New one sent free wouldn't work. Had quite a time convincing Cannon to pay for locksmith. Locksmith had to DRILL HOLES in safe to open it. Luckily the place where he purchased it agreed to take it back. He is buying a dial safe this time. Lesson learned.
The most amazing information that Cannon had to say was that the touch pads only last THREE YEARS or so!!!!!

I did a lot of research on touch pads and came away scared of 'em. It's a shame too, because that safe would be a hell of a deal otherwise. I don't think Academy even carries a dial safe anymore.

I've got one of the smaller cannons with the touch pad and it will drain a lithium battery in less than a week. Got to where I pull the battery and only put it in when I want to open it. Got caught one to many times with a dead battery at 4am when everything is loaded to leave other than the gun

I've had basically that exact same safe for 7 years. Never had a problem with it, the touchpad works flawlessly, and I just started on the 2nd battery since I bought it. If I needed it, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

I have a liberty dial safe. No issues with it Liberty and Browning are the only two combination lock safes I would buy.

Looks like a great deal, but those digital locks scare me. Give me a dial anytime.

For those that are willing to have a digital lock this just might be their huckleberry. I’ve had my current digital safe for almost 30 years and would buy another with no qualms. To each his own.

I would counsel people to look hard at the Fire rating on such safes. It's literally, a cheap safe. I've got touch pads on both my safes, a Browning and a Winchester (old one, made in California). Never had an issue with either. Very seldom have to put a battery in one. I think both have SG locks though, which are the industry standard.

Great price. I don't need one for my guns. I need one for my wife's money!
