In our family we're pretty big toyota fans... me with a 2006 DC tundra,, my boys both have toys and now my wife just traded in her 2012 outback for a 2011 4runner (limited) with 50,xxx miles. Any other members with a 5th gen 4runner? your thoughts/experiences?

Hey Randy, Still have my 2003. Over 190,000 miles with no issues at all. Getting ready to buy another next year finally.

Torn between a new off road model, and a SR5 tundra. I still have my 01 Tundra with a new frame and 168K, runs like new, and I have a 14 Outback. I was thinking of one vehicle, but my current pair is really nice.

If I was going to one, I'd go Tundra. Your current pair sounds pretty nice though. I am buying a stripped SR5 4runner and upgrading tires immediately. Then will do a suspension upgrade at 50,000 miles. Have had a few TRD Toyotas and just not hugely impressed for what you get for the extra funds.

Randy, That sounds like a great vehicle for your wife to drive up in that area......good rigs. I put 140K on my 05 4Runner and it was good for another 100K. I Bought it slightly used when I needed a vehicle after hitting a moose with 05 Taco. I loved the 4Runner but missed the pickup box for hauling messy stuff si I bought that new Taco in your area last spring.
My 4Runner had VSC [vehicle stability control] and I can live without that.....my moon roof switch gave me a problem but only one as I disabled it.

Randy, My wife has a 2015 Limited with 60k on it. Nothing other than regular maintenance to date and she loves it. I’m looking at either a new limited or loaded SR5, or a used Landcruiser for my next vehicle....

I do like the KDSS on my 4Runner, really handles better on curvy roads.

Thanks for all the input guys, I figured it was likely a pretty good pick, not sure we needed the limited with all the extra fu-fu but it was a fair price on a low mile rig so we went ahead.
