I had no love for the guy for sure.

This proliferation of dominant women surrounded by girlie boys in our society is alarming.

and as of yet, there is no legal definition of 'sexual misconduct' or 'inappropriate behavior'. It's all subjective, and evidently an allegation needs no substantiation or proof. Frankly, it's a great time to fire folks you would like to unload, but could not provide a legal reason.

Can't help but wonder now, with all these women coming forward with allegations of past sexual harassment, just who has been buying the countless fantasy romance novels and magazines sold, religiously following TV soap operas and flocking to theaters buying tickets to movies, all with leading male characters prone to physically forcing themselves on females?

Amazing some of you actually think this is a new thing. The only thing that is new about theses firings is now it’s the big dogs that nobody thought could ever be touched. As a former corporate investigator I can tell you firings such as these have been going on since the 90’s the only difference now is that power and prestige is no longer a cloak of invincibility.

The sexual assault supposedly happened in Brazil at the Olympics. Over three years ago.
Naturally the femme didn't breathe word of it at the time.

The complaint came out Monday night and last night the decision was made to fire him. His case got a 26-hour review, and he was gone! His life destroyed, no judicial hearing, no criminal complaint.

So, due process involves ONLY the Government and our Constitutional Rights, it has NOTHING to do with individuals or Private businesses.

Second, this/these claim(s) of sexual misconduct were reported to NBC officials on Monday. Today is Wednesday, how do you know that they did not investigate and find the accusations credible, believable and true? How do you know that Matt did not admit guilt to these accusations to NBC officials.

Working, maybe.

Voting, certainly.

Eventually, all Men, simply accused of sexual harassment, will be deemed "too dangerous" to be allowed to own firearms and their 2A rights will be taken away, by nothing more than an accusation.

Too common a story. The plain truth is that if all men are rapists, all women are liars about rape.

Of course, neither allegation is true... but if you're going to accept one as a premise, you have to accept the other. Feminists go ballistic because they want to keep the double standard that works to their advantage.

But as I stated in here a couple weeks ago, the power of the feminists is being severely shaken in more recent years by exposure of false accusations, and by men fighting back. If a man is falsely accused, and the allegation is disproven, men are increasingly willing to sue the authority. This has happened at universities, in government, and in the corporate world. Corporate "risk managers" used to follow a playbook where the accused man was cut loose immediately out of fear that the woman's accusation would besmirch the corporate reputation. But now lawsuits have made them realize their playbook doesn't reduce risk at all, it actually increases it because a lawsuit from a falsely accused man can be even more damaging than a woman's accusation.

Men need to fight back against false accusations, not just crawl under a rock and die. And women who bring false accusations need to be punished severely.

He is a Canadian socialist, that's enough for me. He should have been fired years ago.

I don't have a problem with a man being fired from a job because he sexually harassed another employee.....and that includes both women AND men employees. I worked with a couple of real jerks at USPS who flirted with every woman that came through the door, and had I the power to do so, I would have fired their asses on the spot.

HOWEVER.......while we're firing men for harassing women, then let's also fire the women who tried to take on a man's job, but couldn't. Let's fire the women who sexually harassed men.....and yes, there are those that do. I have a huge problem with women who claim that a man harassed her many years ago, and that charge sticking. If you feel that some has harassed you, or bullied you, or whatever the case may be......then level that charge then and there, while the evidence is fresh, and not 40 damn years later.

Hopefully, NBC will offer Shepard Smith on Fox Matt Lauer job for 25 million a year. We get Shepard off Fox and sexual harassment against women will stop since Shepard is gay.
