His first show is in about a month. Then it will be the Colorado and California circuit during the summer. Somewhere during that time he'll go in for professional hunt training so he can learn to point like they are supposed to. Also, I hope to make regular trips to the Seattle area for dock diving. Always wanted to do that with one of my dogs but have never had one that seemed to be to interested in the water. This guy loves it

Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

Thanks for the comments. We feel fortunate to have him. He came to us from Reese Kennels in Florida. They have one of the best lines of German Wirehairs in the country. This guy's mother took Best In Show at Westminster three or four years ago so we know he has the potential for great things in the future. (if we do our part)

Aero won't go into the field until after training this coming summer. If I can afford it, he'll go to a field trial trainer and handler. Meanwhile, I still got my Drat Oly who gets a workout every now and then

Good looking drahthaar. Love hunting behind these breeds, they keep a pace that is just right for what I do. Good luck with the training.

Aero had a big weekend in Puyallup. Took home some awards. All that winning can be hard work at times Next show is this weekend in Portland where he will go up against seventeen other GWPs. It will be an interesting show to say the least.
