Ok guys!! I have ran across 3 unfired Borden rifles!! Topped with NF 3.5-15X56 NXS scopes, the calibers are 6mm-284, 7 mag an a 25-284. Price on these rifles are $3499 on consignment in a gun store all stainless an Rim Rock actions. Is this a good price an how do they shoot?

If you deduct $1500 for the scopes, that sounds like a solid deal to me. Less than the price of the parts.

That is a steal... $4900 new for the rifle. $6300 new for the rifle and scope. Link: Link_To_Jim_Borden_Hunting_RiflesLived about 15 miles from Jim Borden's shop when I lived in NE PA 25 years ago. Knew him casually from the paper mill that we both worked at during that time. Benchrest hall of fame shooter. Started building precision rifles while he was shooting benchrest. Eventually resigned from being an engineer at the paper mill and went to full time rifle building.

I've known Jim and Joan for over 25yrs. Jim is a great builder and the price is very fair if they fit your needs. The calibers do nothing for me though.

Not a Borden rifle but do have one of his Alpine actions on my favorite rifle. Thats a heck of a deal for a full on Borden build. Of the 3 the 7MM might be a good one to snag IMHO.

A Borden RimRock build for $2000 is a screaming deal.

You better buy one or all of them. The 6.5 and 7mm would be going home with me....

I have a borden built rifle in 300wsm. Most accurate rifle I have. If it were me that 7 mag would be heading out the door.
