I’m not. It was great! I wouldn’t spend that kind of money on a meal even if I could. I wouldn’t/couldn’t eat like that often, it’s really just ridiculous.

Not bragging, just sharing a pretty amazing meal. No reason to be [bleep] about it, unless that’s all you got?

Oh just saying... you like to run your gums too.. personally I wouldn’t brag about a free meal, but that’s coming from a lewis county that grew up on Blacktail buck meat and raised his kids on same, all while being younger than you by a margin... hint

Everything is good now as I’ve the luxery of dinning on some fairly fine dishes around the world... hint

Though sucking ass isn’t included, nor bragging about a “free” meal... down here that would be well I’m sure you know the word, though I’m sure you rub elbows with em frequently.. haha

Lol. I might run my gums on occasion.

Well, you may be too proud to attend a company Christmas party, but I ain’t. It’d of been rude not to show. Not sure how it’d be construed as bragging.

Stoked you get to travel the world eating fine dishes. Sounds great. Really.

The rest of your post didn’t make a whole lot of sense. Rub elbows with who? Eating deer meat precludes you from attending Christmas parties? How old you think I am? Sucking ass? Hint?

Lol! You’re all over the place man!

I had to google Hogget.....learn something new every day.

I've never eaten Mutton (or Hogget) but I'm a pretty big fan of Roast Leg Of Lamb.

A grass finished mutton or hogget is milder flavored than a grain finished lamb....to my tastes anyway.

I always look for American lamb over the imported meat from NZ/AUS. Just seems more mild and tender. Couldn't tell you which is fed what or how old.

Safeway used to always have those little lamb loin chops on sale in the "Managers Special" section of the meat case. IE, the stuff about to go past its sell by date. I'd buy all I could at 30 to 50% off! Haven't seen them in a bit though.

Little garlic and herbs pasted up with olive oil, salt and pepper, on the grill.....Love those things!

Probably 'cause I grew up in Australia, with friends whose parents owned a sheep station !

All they ever ate, were the older animals - Too much money in the lambs, to eat them, themselves !

Similar, just a little "meatier" flavour, & lends itself better to low & slow cooking.

Delicious.

Beer braised venison/jalapeno/cheddar smokies (brats) & onions in fresh baguette, with a slice of havarti cheese & a good wack of whole grain dijon mustard.

Rounded out with a Guinness stout !

smile

Sounds very good!

We had home raised rib steaks tonight. Pan fried in cast iron.
