I have an original used Kimber of Oregon 7MM Rem Mag I purchased used a few years ago. It has the square bridge receiver atop. When cleaning thoroughly,I notieced someone had used blue layout dye on the bolt locking lugs in attempts to reveal an flaw.Can Mauser 98 bolts get "out of time"? The handle is stiff to close with no cartridge chambered. I have also used blue layout dye on the backside of the lugs, but not much evidence of attrition!
