Idea was a heavy hunter. Not perfect but nothing so bad to upset. '95 Ruger action. GM 19" heavy taper sporter Volq hammer (was in a standard 10/22, helped.......but when swapped into this trigger group it was even nicer Victor Titan stock (they are for .920" dia bbl so there's a decent gap - might do a filler of some sort- or not). VX1 isn't set for 50 yd parallax yet...........might get diff scope and put it back on a deer rifle.

Give us a report on how you like the stock please, after you've spen a little time behind it. Bettin you will really like the way that barrel shoots.
Nice rifle.

Have several bricks of CCI Blazer. And a couple of WW Max (Australian HP). Guy gave me a box of SK match to try out. But this is a hunting gun..........so if it does decent w Minimag or WW or some other mid level HV I'll be happy. Will try the SK and some other standard V stuff, just to see if something shoots fantastic.
Debating on moving my 4-12X AO onto this rig..........just for the ammo testing.
I shoot most of my tree rats offhand, so 2-7X is all it will need. It'd look sweet with one of those Leupold fixed 6X AO's...................

Got the good 10/22 done, had some parts left over...........ended up with this. CWP factory 2nd mannlicher stock cut to sporter (gets me a pad and grip cap). Add front stud and done. Not bad.........have 185 total in it.

It's 7 degrees out. Not going to the range. Guy gave me a box of SK match to try in it. Wait for a 25 degree and no wind day or better.
