Can I convert my M77 .308 win to a .358 win by just screwing on a new barrel?

Rebore/rechamber is likely the most cost effective option. I had my Winchester M/70 rebored/rechambered to .35 Whelen more than 25 yrs. ago and have been very well satisfied.
