Being from Texas I know you have heard of the Geezinslaw Brothers, Sam and Son. Sam told a story about asking his wife what she wanted for Christmas. She replied "a divorce". So Sam says, " I wasn't planning on spending quite that much".

Are these guys still around down there?

They finally kicked Sammy off the radio ( I think?) and Son was always at the bar out at the "spoke" back in the day when i was still single And frequented that establishment. That was almost 40 years ago.

She's got a checkbook, why would I buy her stuff on top of that?

About the divorce thing, that's the best investment I EVER made. Expensive, but FINITE.

Seriously, if you ever think dating is expensive try marriage. And if you think THAT'S expensive, try divorce..

Every year she gets a new toilet brush whether or not she's worn the old one out.

Prenuptial is, too.

I got mine a Swarovski Crystal necklace and matching bracelet. Really not that expensive for the amount of shiny stuff she gets. Looks like diamonds too. Only spent a couple hundred

Now she can get something from Swarovski for you, but from a different kind of store.

I'm sending my wife and daughter in law to China on a mission trip over Christmas break.
That takes care of both of their Christmas presents.

My son's present will be a 2 day hog hunt with HardKnock Outdoors while they are gone.
Hunting one day with dogs/knives.
Hunting second day with crossbow and/or AR.
