I see that Birmingham has 15% of the precincts unreported. The Dems were saving them in case they needed to "adjust" the vote a bit.

If I weren't watching this live I would not have believed this. I'm in shock. I thought Alabamians would have stood up for someone like Moore who truly represented what was truly important to them. Yes, he liked young girls, but who doesn't? I thought it wouldn't have mattered.

If I weren't watching this live I would not have believed this. I'm in shock. I thought Alabamians would have stood up for someone like Moore who truly represented what was truly important to them. Yes, he liked young girls, but who doesn't? I thought it wouldn't have mattered. It mattered to young girls and to the mothers and fathers of young girls. Primaries are getting increasingly more crucial. We need to send our best candidates out of them as winners.

The answer is age 16. Code of Alabama, 1975, 13-A-6-70 (c ). In Parks v. State, 565 So. 2d 1265 (Ala. Crim. App. 1990), the Court interpreted the language of the statute, declaring that “a female 16 years of age is technically not a “child,” but is one capable of consenting to sexual intercourse."
