They are in fact made on the same equipment as FN used. They bought the machinery when FN stopped making Mauser actions.
Don't remember hearing that one, but at my age, who knows? I have heard that the machinery used to make their M47 and M48 military models came from the Germans, who thought they were going to be an amrs supplier for the Reich. Tito's kids were a bit tougher than the Belgians. Must be the terrain, or the vampires.
What fresh Hell is this?

One of my hunting buddies bought a standard, used Interarms Mark X in 30-06 SPRG about ten years ago. He has been hunting with it ever since and I have never heard him speak bad about it. I've never owned one, but would if the right one came along and I liked it at the moment.

All of my Mark X's have really nice figured wood stocks.

I had a Mannlicher stocke 270 in the early 1980's, it was scary accurate also, it thought it was a varmint rifle. It got sold to a guy doing damage control, he loved it. The only reason I got rid of it was the weight.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

I am reading that the actions can be good donors for rebarrel although I like the 270 caliber.
Just thinking what kind of value this one has if a re trigger/re stock vs a true build with barrel and all. I believe the rifle should come with a 4 screw adjustable trigger and they are excellent IMO. I restocked my 270 with a Bell and Carlson Carbonlite, bedded the action, adjusted the trigger to a crisp 2 lbs. The rifle often printed 5/8 to 3/4 " three shot groups with a 140 accubond and 58 grains of H4831SC. The Ramline stocks that some of these came with you used to be able to find online for $20 and they are pretty much crap I've had 3 Mark X and consider them to be a good rifle worth around $450 ish in good shape if they come with a decent stock. I bought one with a Ramline stock NIB for $400 about 6 years ago. Hope that helps Trystan
Good bullets properly placed always work, but not everyone knows what good bullets are, or can reliably place them in the field

to do it right your going to need to have a new straight bolt handle welded on, and change the trigger, and change to a new safety. That all before you put on your new stock. But you will then have a very nice rifle.
