I don't recall the NFL ever cancelling a prime time slotted game,
Ya, Sunday night is New Years Eve, so attendance would likely be down, viewership in general is down for multiple reasons, Weather sucks in quite a few locations,
Few worthy match ups at this point in the final regular season weekend,, I'm not even sure who/if they had a game scheduled,
Just seems like cancelling a game, is a sure sign of Hell is on the way.
Figured you 'fans', would enjoy in this news.......

I'm sort of glad the NFL made this call. I'll be at Panthers v Falcons and I like the idea of NO and TB playing at the same time..

They rearranged the starting times so that all games with playoff implications would be played during the 4:30 time slot. All games are being played, just at different times
Most people don't really want the truth.

Maybe if it's the bad weather they're worried about, they can play some of the games in Green Bay on that nice heated field.... The Heated Tundra of Lambeau Field. NYH1.
