Pull the front sight down low in the rear notch and fire the revolver one handed.

Gmack is right on this one. Uberti will fix it for free. I bought one used and they fixed it for free. It was perfect upon return and the turn around was as expected.

The El Patron is something I wouldn't mind getting, but I wish they didn't send it with checkered grips. I like the more traditional smooth wood grips on a SAA. Here's my Cattleman. Same gun, but not specially tuned at the factory.

Would you have listened? Friendly question. Of course. That solution just never occurred to me. And I even researched it. I read someone who recommended an old school solution from the old West of bending the front sight, and reluctantly went ahead and did it (This was the early 1990s). It worked, but the rear sight filing would have been a better solution.

Filing a premium model color case frame is better than factory gunsmith tuning? Uberti custom fitted a new barrel on my used SA for free and mine was doing your group at 25 yds not 10.

For me filing and cold blue was better then sending off a gun for weeks that might not come back how i want it. BTW, i wasn't shooting for groups, simply trying to correct my windage.
