I have two NIB Model 94's with the boxes, hang tags, manuals, etc.
How do you store your guns which have the serialized boxes? Do you store the firearm plus box in your safe? Do you separate the box from the firearm? If so, how do you go about protecting the box?

The few I bought new and kept the boxes - the firearms are in a safe or otherwise stored, the boxes are in the attic.

Thanks, it may be that I am too careful, but I have seen box condition affect collector value. Of course, at some point (Colt SAA, Winchester 1886, etc.) it is immaterial.
