Wow, that is one cool looking gun. Something you would expect to see in a Star Wars movie. I'll admit I do not know much about those type of guns. When I was growing up everyone on my family had Remingtons. Then my Dad got a job and bought a Weatherby

I am very sorry to hear about your horse. My grandma used to say a bad plow horse is better than a good whiskey drinkn' women. But we should really try and keep this thread on track. May I suggest you post about your late horse in the forums under "horses and ATV's" and we can continue to mourning over there
Sorry for your loss.

Beating a dead horse makes the meat tender, for a dead horse pie. When tuna pies are not in season.

I think he would buy, if the gun is exactly what he is looking for, and priced at 1/2 value.

That would be nice, doesn't seem like too much to ask.

If anyone cares, I'm officially on the waiting list for a 6.5 CM barrel for my Encore. Still curious to see if a deal pops up here, but much to the dismay of muffinman, I will be spending some money, though I guess I technically didn't buy a rifle. I'd like to thank Bob for keeping it interesting.

WTF are you talking about? Put up or shut up, whatever you want to bet I'm in. The [bleep] barrel is ordered.

Before you make any bets, please consider that T/C Encore makes that barrel in 35 Whelen
