Always been a Swarovski fan but eyeballing the 12-50 meostars, how do they stack up against the big 3? Lieca, Zeiss and Swarovski. Thanks in advance

I’ve got the 8x32HD. They’re very good, but they’re not alphas. I don’t have any experience with the 12x50.
If you put Taco Bell sauce in your ramen noodles it tastes just like poverty

They stack up more than well....
Their S2 spotter, IMHO, is about as good as it gets.
CS is best in business....

I'll add this. I spend an estimated 500 hours a fall doing nothing but staring into glass, not just hunting (over 100 hrs the last few weeks and I'm on a big hill typing this out sweating my balls off). That was some quick hill math. My point is I stare a lot into glass and am fortunate to be able to. I run 15x Swaro HDs which is the best Big Eye bin glass without a doubt....I run a Meopta S2 82mm with the 20-70x eyepiece...
To my eyes, I could have zero issues switching over to the Meopta 15x for my big glassing and not miss a beat...
YMMV...

I'll add this. MeOpta is a poor man's Swaro and you get 99% of the Swaro quality for half the price and unlike all the new FAKE brands (GPO, Tract, Maven etc.) they at least make their own glass and they have been making high-quality glass for decades. No wonder Zeiss and others picked MeOpta to make some very famous pieces for them. (3-9 Conquest anyone?) ... and you get 30 years warranty too!
This is a no-brainer for all those that can't or don't need the "Alpha" glass. Actually, some of their products are right up there with the expensive German brands and should be considered an "Alpha" glass.

Edit: BTW I'm also hearing some exciting news about a new MoOpta scope line that should be in the 34-36mm tube size range similar to NF, Zeiss etc.

Brought em to work today, been playing with em all day, drizzly, poor light, cloudy, very impressive glass, glad I bought em. I’ve got the same set Judman. They are rugged and ultra good glasses. I got mine a few years back and now I’d like a pair of those 7x42’s. I don’t think you can beat Meopta Meostars for the money. Congrats on them.

That could be long line ... so lets see only one
Easy on Eyes
what that means? It means that Binos does not makes you tired glassing for hours. So how Binos can make you tire through eyes? Any image made by eyes go to the brain, and if it is not what you brain knows it try to fix the image. Now you got partly tired. So what make brain overtime work? Only one example: it can be image of an object that is not in focus or sometimes called "bokeh". To brain Gausian bokeh is normal anf if it is not that one you got brain work. So what is Gausian bokeh? I(t is king of blur image representation where the edge of an object is fading out slowly. Eg. Zeiss bokeh is not the best for it shows just a bright line much wider that a sharp edge and brain try to figure out what is it. Leica is the only one with 100% Gausian bokeh. Look around for price of Leica photo-lens, and this bokeh is a part of the cost. Nikon have only 3 photo lenses with "good" bokeh. Autofocus 1.4/85, 2/200 and manual lens 3.5/105 mm.
So through one example, above, ONLY with Leica Binos you get that nice bokeh for out of focus image and you have to pay for it if you want it. What you see on pictures, adds, TV, is not going to show you REAL quality of just any product, especially with optics.
There are so many other qualities in the Binos that are somehow "hiden" as long as you get on Hunt.
Now another, long short, there is nothing to even compare to Leica Binos, except blah, blah ....
