I am amazed!! I didn't know that there were so many states that disallow concealed carry permits!!

That Brady Bunch Report is hog wash. It didn't make those innocent victims out there in Maryland any safer when those 2 sniper idiots decided to kill people at random. Malvo and that Muhammand character I'm referring to. By the way, are those killers still getting 3 square meals a day, a roof over their heads, and free heat?????????

I dont think its gun control that will make a difference, i think maybe if we got some of the violent idiots and criminals off the streets we'd be all set.

JScottRupp,
The Brady report is bullcaca for sure. Indiana has it's problems but gun laws are one of them. Indiana is a Shall Issue state. I've had a concealed carry permit for 30 years.

We got a D.
Not to bad I would guess, however I would say we could try harder. There's always hope for an F the next time...

I live in Connecticut and have had a concealed carry permit for 45 years. Considering that there are 3 million people here and nobody wants to live in the cities the laws are not that bad at the momement.
But Bridgeport tried to ban handguns and did sue many gun companies but that mayor is on trial and facing 165 years in prison. We have an Attorney General (Blumenthal) that is anti gun and he is on TV every night. Of course Dodd is a senator here!
The state fish and game does quite a bit to keep hunting going but there is very little land left for that with all the big houses going up every day in the middle of meadows and woodlots.
We can hunt deer here with rifles if we get permission from a landowner with 10 acres or more. Ct has a lot of deer but it's very difficult to get permission. But if you do it's likely to be free. This state is not like some I read about where it's fenced off and they charge you to hunt there. Here it's a free for all and no permission is required for small game. There is not much land in state forests and there is no federal land to speak of.
The seasons here are long and up to seven deer can be taken by bow, rifle and shotgun.

Heres hoping we can all apply ourselves and do much worse in the future, and maybe even score some of those F-'s.In the meantime we'll continue paying room and board for the likes of Kip Kinkle,John Malvo, etc, and blame it on " [color:"red"]THE GUNS [/color]". Jeff

YIPPEEEE!!! We failed--Montana got an "F"--unfortunately, there is always room for improvement. For next year we should work on getting those "Ds" down to "Fs" where they belong. I wonder if it would be possible to get a negative score...
Kinda makes you wonder how gun crime is nearly unheard of here and yet we are rated amongst the least safe states. I mean we have gun crime but it ain't bad, definately not worth and "F"
O goody we even got a demerit!

Alright, Idaho got an F+. Maybe next year we can make it a perfect F. With our luck though, with all those Kalifornians coming to Idaho, we'll probably move more toward the middle. Hope not ! I'd like to see us keep a strong point, right where we are.
