I have sold several things to Larry Root, not knowing to who wanted them till the check came! Never had a Problem, fast payment also , unlike some on here! Not a fan of his posting tho!

Its ok to sell him something, (make sure the check clears before you ship), but beware of buying from him! I wouldn't buy from or sell to him!

Just to clarify the facts.
Larry is my BIL.
He has done many transactions here as well as other internet sites.
I linked his scope for sale to the fellow who said he was looking for one.
Those members here, who have bought or sold from him have reported no issues.
As with the President, this site has a "deep state cabal" that will engage in scurrilous attacks, bereft of any first person evidence.
I'll leave it there.

I don't venture into the toxic political discussions here on 'fire and don't participate in the occasional public bashings that seem to draw rabid followings, so I don't know the history of this seemingly overflowing ill-will towards him.
But I will say this: I have dealt with Larry Root several times over the years and never had an issue. Every transaction with him -- both buying and selling -- has been smooth. His communication has always been courteous and never activated any red flags.

You will find that none of the rabid dogs have ever done any deals with him.
They are all following their chosen Pied Piper without any critical analysis.
Your comments, those other "deals" done here, as well as his excellent feedback on sites across the web show the truth.

I've done 2 deals with Mr. Root. Both went very well. On one, he sent me the money and then asked me to hold shipping for 6 weeks.

Why is this posted here in the first place? The classifieds forum is to buy, sell & trade, right? There is a sticky above with a good guy list. Larry is notorious, and there is no "Bad Guy" list. Many have had good transactions, but a few haven't. I posted it as there are some people that had some issues and I wanted to make sure that folks are aware of his latest identity. Other than being an unnecessary douchbag in one of my threads which put him on my radar, and backing out of a possible scope deal with me, I haven't had any actual transactions with him.
