I predict a disappointing shot show. Probably lots of cheap guns in aluminum chassis with AR stocks.
I saw a sneak peak of some products that would be at Shot and that pretty much summed it up.

I'm interested to see what Sako is coming out with, based upon their website it looks like maybe a new finnlight. I'm hoping it's a new action where we don't have to worry about ejection issues...

I always like to see what "SHOT Show special runs" of rifles Browning puts out.
Several years ago they did a run of the BAR Stalker fluted 308 carbines, shorter and lighter than the normal model. I purchased.
Last year they did the Monte-Carlo stock, no sight, matte finish BLR Lightweights in several calibers, I snagged one of those too.
I'll be watching.

Now if I could win a nice Lottery and afford to buy several of the Classic Grades. Lots bigger selection of calibers than I expected too...just wonder if they gonna actually build a 6.5Swede & ??? all the others listed.
Once upon a time I had a small collection of 5 1st Gen Classics, with 2 non cataloged guns in 300Wmg and the only 25'06 they ever built in a 1st Gen Classic Grade, and one of the 300 223's they had committed to one year when I worked for Stoeger in the '80's. If any one has a 17Rem in a 1st Gen Classic they are ahead of the game since only a little over a 100 guns,of the 300 guns offered, were ever shipped to Stoeger. Can't remember the 4th caliber offered in the deal of .17R, .222, .223 & ?...or was it just those 3? Old age is not fun these days.

I'll be looking for the new 23 caliber to come out soon. I hear...err or sense, that it'll be a blown out 17WSM firing a 57 grain hollowpoint at 2000 fps! and will be featured in the resurrected No. 3!
The shot show would be a perfect place to unveil it !!

Nope. Minor stock changes. Cerakoted finish. Think its called the Finnlight II - very original. For the Creedmoor haters, probably a 6.5 CM in one or more variations of the 85, and half a dozen or more iterations of the 6.5CM in the T3x.
