Does anyone have and real world input on the Trophy Xtreme line of scopes? Do they compare to the 3200 or 4200 Elites? Where are they made? Cant find much info on them online anywhere and thought someone here might have some imput. I am considering the 2.5-10x44 model for my AR10

yeah, I have one in a higher power range...6 x 24...30mm tube

I'd say they are an upgrade from the 3200s I have used..
but optically a little less than a 4200 but not by much..

The scope I really like a lot as of late...from Bushnell
is their Engage Line...

I prefer it greatly over the 4200 or the Trophy Extreme..

the reticle, the optics quality, the target turrets..
precise... lotta scope for the dollar..

some would think the reticle was too busy...
I don't...

30 mm tube also..

I've got a 2.5 x 10, a 3 x 12 and a 4.5 x 14...in the Engage...

Trophy Xtreme is manufactured in China while 3500 is made in Korea. According to optics-trade.eu.

Have the Trophy extreme , have a 721 I had rebarreled to 30-06 . Smith did a fantastic job , rifle has the absolute best cold shot of any gun I have owned and I have been through a few . Rifle had a 6.5-20 EFR on it and I swaped it out for the extreme , to free up the EFR for a long range Remington . Was a little concerned at first , but after zeroing , all concern left . Clarity is very good , clicks positive , SF works great and cold shot was still dead on the money . Cross hairs are also good in early and late light .

WRONG!!! The 3500 is made in Japan according to me. I just bought a 3500 and it is stamped Japan on the bottom of the scope. I called Bushnell to verify myself before the purchase and they confirmed that they are still made in Japan before I purchased the scope...

I’m pretty sure nothing has changed with the BUSHNELL ELITES since they were first made other than changing the name of it several times and adding new coatings. They started out as BAUSH & LOMB 3000 and 4000. Then the added RAINGAURD so changed name to 3200-4200 to designate as RAINGAURD models. Then they dropped BAUSH & LONB and just called them BUSHNELL ELITE 3200-4200. Later they came out with the 3-9x40 4200 ELITE but it caused confusion because it was a 3x zoom model and 4200 designates a 4x zoom model. Soooo... they decided to now do away with the separate 3200-4200 models and just call them BUSHNELL ELITE. They would all be 4200 quality glass and construction. The latest designation is 3500 and 4500 series. The 3500 means 3x zoom models and 4500 means 4x zoom range models. They are all still made in Japan. If you look at the specs they have not changed at all from what I can see except they have side focus instead of AO and it looks like the 4500 have taller turrets now. The only thing I wish they would do is make an etched thicker PLEX or at least a thicker PLEX type reticle and some other reticle options.

Ok, good to know. So it must be a mistake on optic-trades site. But it only states that 3500 series is made in Korea, while 4500 and 6500 are made in Japan indeed. Well in the end it doesn't rally matter is it Korea or Japan, both produce high quality products in many fields.

There was a special run or something at one time that was not made in Japan. I saw some of them myself. Pretty sure they are all Japan now though.

The only one I remember was a 3-9x40 ELITE that had side focus. I believe it was made in China.

Yep you are right. That was called the special edition...That was years ago and they stopped that and went back with Japan made...

If you look at the bottom of my scope the numbers 354124...35 for 3500, 412 for 4-12, 4 for 40 mm.....Japan

yep the elites have been made in japan from the beginning. They haven't changed the looks really at all. when it comes to scopes I really only want to think about the scope if its made in japan. I do have a couple scopes made in the Philippians, like nikons and burris. I also like the engage line of scopes but honestly I can't trust them being built in china.
