Period. Don't believe there's not even something as simple as a double button, double entry, confirmation prompt, etc in order to declare a missle launch 🚀 state of emergency to the public. Nope. Have to prove that trashy explanation to me. Rest of the story hasn't been exposed. And yes I know there's another thread with folks chasing their tail over this.

Did you hear the press conference yesterday? They said it was NOT a single button event.

But no, didn't watch anything like that.

It was described as a "monthly systems check" that required a two step process albeit by a single individual. And the siren system was supposedly activated, or partially activated, by a second individual which is not part of the system check! What a CF!

Possibly a politically motivated setup by the left to try to let President Trump make a very bad call.

This was a press con with the head of the state's Emergency Management who seemed stressed out and who I think was the Governor who did not speak Engrish real well and seemed to be a complete bafoon. Listened live on FOX on satellite radio.

Blame Trump for actually stepping up to do something about it rather than the horrific failures of the past administrations that created the problem! MAGA

I think it was done on purpose with a political objective in mind.

Fox interview now is still saying "somebody hit the wrong button". Still not buying it.

It's a computer screen system. Not some physical buttons on a panel someone bumped into. Maybe it was some chithole foreigner?

I never believed the "wrong button" claim, either. This was either some doofus dinking around with the system out of boredom, or a deliberate "prank" for reasons unknown.

Trump and his military advisors are far too smart to push THE button for something like this without absolutley verified attack proof. And our watching eyes in the sky were able to tell him within minutes that there was no attack.

So my question is, what was being done after the "button was pushed"?

Were anti-missile defense systems activated? if not, why not?

Yeah I don't think anybody believes there's a great big That's Easy button there on a desk. It's sure a screen prompt. Had quite a bit of experience with entry sequences on medical devices. Critical settings are never changed by one accidental key stroke. Same here. I ain't buying it.

Some low performance guy assigned the weekend shift comes on duty all hungover and bummed he didn't get leighed is stuck with the monthly system check and flubbed it. Or not.

No. The state don't run missiles.

Think for one second, Fireball. Which comes first in a real scenario? Missile detection, or missile warning?

Never trusted the Sandwich Islanders after that whole Capt Cook incident.
